Lobson Chan - Chief Operating Officer

 

Lobson joined Outblaze in December 2000 as Product Manager, in which capacity he oversaw Outblaze's product strategy and development to ensure that products and services remained at the state of art and met market needs. He was later promoted to Product & Project Director and established a brand new department called the Product & Project Management Office. Lobson's role is to centralize and coordinate the management of projects. He is tasked with introducing project/program/portfolio management approaches to product development and project management in general at Outblaze.

 

Prior to joining Outblaze, Lobson was Community Manager at hongkong.com Corporation, where he was in charge of the deployment, operation, maintenance and marketing of various community products such as hongkong.com's webmail, e-zine, web hosting, chat room, forum, and match-maker services.

 

Lobson holds Master degrees in Information Systems, Linguistics, Communication and New Media. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Senior Certified Commercial E-Business Specialist.
