Responsibilities: 

We are looking for a tech-savvy, business development manager who also has an interest in interactive educational products for children. You will be working in our Educational Technology team and be responsible for sourcing, building and maintaining business relationships in relation to our educational apps, primarily for the BrainyTap platform. BrainyTap is a social platform which empowers families, teachers and students to create their own personalized interactive lessons. You will work with management to execute business development plans. This position is open to part-timers and freelancers.

 

• Locating and proposing potential business opportunities by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities

• Digital content licensing, acquisition, publishing and distribution

• Data research and analysis including identifying trends and competitors

• Coordinating between internal parties and Licensors & Content Providers to ensure contractual requirements are met

• Working with management to identify and work on new growth opportunities in the Education Sector

• Keeping updated on job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

 
Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related disciplines

• Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience with proven track record

• Fluency in written and verbal English

• Must be a user of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets

• Relevant working experience in Education, technology or interactive media is a plus

• Experience in project coordination and management is a plus

• Experience and exposure with children education and digital learning sector is a definite plus

• Mature, self-motivated, hardworking

• Good interpersonal skills and energetic personality

• Good communicator and negotiator

• Strong presentation skills, including product demonstrations and PowerPoint presentations
